Uplifting Dads: Mental Health and Wellness Resources for Fathers

Fatherhood is powerful, rewarding—and, let’s be honest, exhausting. Between work, caregiving, and the pressure to “have it all together,” many dads are left running on fumes. But taking care of your mental health isn’t a luxury—it’s leadership at home. That’s why this Father’s Day, we’re highlighting resources designed to support dads from all walks of life, including Black, Latino, and LGBTQ+ fathers.

Whether you're managing toddler tantrums or teenage transitions, juggling remote work or navigating family dynamics, your well-being matters. When dads prioritize mental health, everyone benefits—kids, partners, and communities.

Need a mindfulness reset between diaper duty and emails? Try apps like Calm or Headspace. Looking for culturally relevant support? Platforms like Therapy for Black Men, Latinx Parenting, or Family Equality offer tailored tools and community. Maybe you're just curious about where to begin—Mental Health America provides free mental health screenings and resources that make it easy to start small.

Take Trevor, a dad of two and school counselor. After joining The Dad Gang and using Insight Timer to wind down after stressful days, he says, “I stopped seeing self-care as selfish. It’s how I stay present for my kids.”

As we celebrate Father’s Day, we’re reminding every dad out there: strong doesn’t mean silent. You don’t have to carry it all alone.
